Selling a horse well takes time: answering messages, arranging viewings, keeping it fit and presentable while it waits for the right buyer. If you cannot do all that, Aloha Centro Ippico can take your horse on consignment.
Write to us describing your horse: age, breed, level of training, why you are selling. We reply and, if it makes sense for both, we agree on the arrangement and the boarding terms.
Your horse is boarded at Aloha at a heavily reduced rate, because it is with us to be sold, not simply stabled. It is looked after daily like any other horse at the centre.
Members of the centre see it every day. Interested buyers come and try it in person, with us present. No endless phone calls with people who never turn up.
The horse is published on Horsefinder.it with papers and health status, and promoted on the Aloha Instagram profile, followed by riders who actually ride.
The sale is agreed directly between you and the buyer. We handle the showing and the promotion, not the paperwork of the transfer.
Consignment works when the horse is sound enough to be shown and ridden, and when you are genuinely willing to sell at a realistic price. If your horse needs veterinary treatment before it can be worked, or if you are not sure you want to sell, it is better to wait: keeping a horse here that cannot be shown costs you money and helps no one. Tell us honestly how things stand and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
Tell us about your horse.
No commitment: we look at it together and tell you whether consignment makes sense for you.
